The first hole in the ground
GroundWork is for people who want the story under the win: how founders actually start, raise, and keep going.
GroundWork exists for the years before the headline.
The late nights, the first customer who was not a friend, the round that almost died, the project that looked small until it was not. We publish those stories for people in their late teens through early thirties who are starting something of their own and want to hear how the work actually went.
What you will read
Each piece follows one founder, maker, or operator. We ask what they built, where the money came from, what broke, and what they would do again. The short version sits on the card. The long version is the part worth keeping.
Why a mole
A mole does not announce the tunnel. It moves dirt. The sprout is what shows up later. That is the beat of this newsletter: the groundwork, then the growth.
If that is the kind of story you want in your inbox, leave your name and email on the dashboard. New pieces land there first.
