Stories are free to read on the site. If you subscribe, we email recurring issues and occasional related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. Confirming a subscription is an affirmative request to receive those emails.

Your account on this site

Public sign-in and comments may be paused. Liking a story does not require an account. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it in a way that harms other readers, or use it to send spam.

Content

We and our interview subjects own the stories we publish. You may quote short passages with credit and a link. You may not copy an issue in full and present it as your own.

Founder stories describe past events as told to us. They are not a promise of similar results. The site and emails are provided as they are. To the extent US law allows, GroundWork is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the site or the newsletter.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which GroundWork is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
